Pots of Gold is open to all BLGC members. If you are not already a member of BLGC you can sign up for free here

“Pots of Gold” is an initiative, part funded by The Provincial Walsh Trust & BLGC, which aims to provide BLGC members with funding from £15-£100. This funding can be used to support BLGC members with their learning, skills and hobbies or to help to reduce stress. Young people can apply for this funding themselves, or with the support of an adult if needed.

You can apply for funding to support you for most hobbies and activities some examples are below

  • Sport equipment such as football boots, swim kits, martial arts gi’s.
  • Musical instruments, books and associated exam fees.
  • Tutoring, revision guides or open day visits.
  • Yoga, boxing or mindfulness courses.
  • Self care kits.
  • Gym or club membership.
  • And much more!

Once applications have been submitted they will be reviewed by our Young Person’s Panel who make the final decision on funding allocations. (please note that the panel meet quarterly, however if it is urgent please contact us direct to discuss further)

Do you want to help other Young People, and learn new skills, that will help you in your future or looking to build your confidence? If you answered yes to the above, then why not join our Young Person’s Panel! Our fully trained Young Person’s Panel will meets every three months to review applications.

If you are interested in joining the panel, and you’re aged between 13 and 17 years old, please click below to apply online. Successful applicants for the panel will be contacted shortly after, to be invited for training.
